Welcome to the Members Forum

The Purpose of the Member’s Forum is to provide members with the opportunity to discuss any issues and concerns they may have about the centre and services. There are a few Members of the Board of Trustees, who will be able to raise these issues at regular Trustee Meetings. Lynda is offering her support along with the all the staff.

Using this route of communication, this can help shape future services and help tailor current services to the needs of the members. The hope is also that through the Members Forum, we can develop a new Peer Support Network. For example being able to get in touch with another Member on times when the centre is closed or out of hours. This type of support is vital to many people.

Our aim is to have a “members only” web group with a manned chat room service and manned times will be displayed in the Chat Schedule link.

We also get involved with Organising events such as the Members Party, Fundraising, World AIDS Day and Campaigning – getting in touch with Local Government and Health agencies, MP’s AM’s and MEP’s to ensure funding continues and also trying to raise the awareness of HIV.

We propose to meet on a regular basis; meetings will usually be informal and friendly. The Members Forum is open to every Member of AIDS TRUST Cymru. You can make a difference so if you’d like to get involved (how often is up to you) get in touch with :-
